YOUR DAY RECORDED FOR POSTERITY

investiture medal

Attending an Investiture ceremony is a very special and often unrepeated experience. With our video and stills packages each recipient obtains a unique record of their own Investiture and is able to relive the events leading up to the moment when the award was presented.

This also gives the opportunity to share the occasion with family and friends who were unable to be present.

The Investiture ceremonies are carried out with great precision and perfect stage management - yet they remain a unique combination of charm, informality and style. To maintain this delicate balance, the precise way in which the Investitures are video-taped is of great importance. The operation must clearly be as unobtrusive as possible.

Before each Investiture, cameras are positioned in key areas where guests and recipients assemble and are briefed. In Buckingham Palace, these locations include The Grand Staircase, The Green Drawing Room,
The Picture Gallery and The East Gallery.
